OOps! I should have read the intro a little closer or scrolled down to see the entries; I missed the 30 year re-union. I found out about it through an email about the informal re-union scheduled for Aug. 2002 in which this URL was included. -- Contrary to an article about Diane Chapek in which my name was substituted in error, I didn't die in 1970. I have been married to Alex Baluczynski for almost 27 years. We have four children; 3 in college right now and a junior in high school. This semester I am taking my last class to graduate with a Masters in School Library Media Studies and am a school library media specialist in Eagle Grove, Iowa. --

I was disappointed that I didn't know about this! I was hoping we'd do something for our 30th! My husband Pete and I have been with Campus Crusade for Christ for 27 years and currently live in Colorado Springs. We began with the Athletes in Action Gymnastics team and now recruit people to fill short term positions on the mission field. We have travelled to about 14 countries and plan to go to Tanzania this summer. After being totally humiliated by my friends while in marching band, I still play the flute. I play regularly in church, and occasionally in a wedding or a tea. Raquetball has taken over as my first love in sports, but I think I will always be a skier! Our boys are 24 and 22. Aaron is married and lives in Bozeman Montana where he teaches English (I hated English). Mike will graduate from Northwest Nazarene University in May of 2002 and plans to go to Seminary afterwards. I'm hoping to see everyone in August of 2002.

Here's the last 30 years in one paragraph. Got married in 1972 to Mike Smith (Ramsey '69), divorced in 1995. Two children - Andy (27) who works as an accountant at St. Paul Co. and attending school for his masters degree, married to Stephanie. Jenny (24) who works in cards services at USBank, and lives at home (again). Worked for over 20 years for Gillette Co. (yes, the razor blade company)in the payroll department, St. Paul facility was sold last year and now I work for ADC Telecommunications as a Sr. Corp. Payroll Systems Analyst. I keep busy with lots of other things - work with Hmong kids in a reading program through the Ramsey Cty Sherrif's Dept, am treasurer at church, try to keep in shape by walking around Lake Phalen (I can be found there early in the morning on most weekends). That's my whole life in a nutshell.

hey sounds like a great time you will have thursday. Jim amd I wont be able to make it. Please email us to let us know about the night.. This is to Drange my once removed relative have a drink for me... well have fun... Stephanie Kirchner

I hit the submit button too soon...After reading all the comments it sounds like everyone had a great time. I wish I would've known about the reunion. We moved from Falcon Heights about 12 years ago and were in Cincinnati until we moved to the Chicago area 7 years ago. I have been married to Pat O'Neill (Cretin grad) for 26 years and we have 3 children (Tom 24, Philip 21, Meghan 19). I am a senior financial underwriter for Aetna Healthcare in Chicago. I was recently in Minnesota as my mother passed away. Pat McGuiggan told me about the great time everyone had at the reunion and also about this web page. I actually had an opportunity for some high school reminiscing when Mr Bergstedt (wrestling coach) and Mr & Mrs Hansen (Doug and Roger's parents) attended my mother's visitation. Be sure to contact me for the next reunion.

I found out recently from Pat McGuiggan that there was an informal reunion last year. Please let me know if another reunion is planned...Thanks

Subject: Re: Judge Bradford SchroederHi Cindy,
Brad and I attended the Alexander Ramsey 20th class reunion in 1990. Sadly, it was to be his last. Brad was diagnosed with cancer at age 44, and died at age 46 in Nov. 1998. He left two beautiful, healthy children, our son Brandon, age 10 and daughter Courtney, age 5. (They were 8 and 3 when he passed). I realize you had a very large class, and so I don't even know if you knew him, but Brad was very proud to be from Minnesota. He showed me his old neighborhood in Roseville, etc. He was a die hard Gopher and Vikings fan! He still has several relatives in the twin cities area, so we would go back and visit often.
Brad was extremely intelligent, articulate, and had a great sense of humor. He also had a kind spirit, and we miss him terribly, as you can imagine. His legacy are his children, his great respect for the outdoors, and his impact on the judicial system in Wyoming. A memorial scholarship fund was established in his honor to award scholarships to law students. (It is called the Judge Bradford L. Schroeder Memorial Scholarship Fund, and donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. Contact me for more info.) Another charity that benefited was "Cowboys Against Cancer" .Brad was also a volunteer fireman, and had some adventurous moments. His memorial service was an incredible event and celebration of his short life.
The children and I moved to Colorado about a year ago in an atttmept to rebuild our shattered world. Perhaps I have told you more than you wanted to know, but his passing still seems very surreal to me. Perhaps news of his death will be a reminder of how tentative and precious life is. I'm sure he will join you in spirit. Thanks. Carmella

Sorry I missed the fun. I was driving to Madison to see the Gophers-Badgers game. Still not far from sports, I guess. I have lived in the old neighborhood for 19 years, four blocks from where I grew up. My oldest son is 20 - graduated from Roseville HS in 1999. What a weird experience seeing the same teachers after 30 years! Skie even got to calling my son Dan "Dave." Graduated from Macalester in 4 years, enjoyed running track (late bloomer). Got a job in St. Paul, always lived in the area. Married in 1976 to a Hamline grad, the former Lynnette Johnson. You probably remember her, Bakken, Raygor, Baden, etc. Our other son is 11, going to Falcon Heights Elementary. I am on my 12th job since college graduation, this one as Ass't Community Development Director for the City of New Brighton. So far, so good - I might even stay for awhile. Enjoyed the pictures - as I expected, the girls look great, and the guys look like hell. Let me know about the '02 party - I don't have far to drive.

Looks like a great evening - sorry I missed it! Please let me know next time. As Jim Moore said - life is great. I have a wonderful wife, Jana - been married 16 years; three great kids - Ryan 15, Lauren 10, and Alana 8. I'm a partner with Cathy (Anderson) Sleiter's husband Jay at BWBR Architects in St. Paul. Cathy is about the only person from our class that I see anymore. Oh, and Cindy Browne, who works in the building next door and who told me about this website. Cindy mentioned a possible reunion in '02 when we all turn 50 - count me in and keep me posted!

I just had a peak at the pictures of the reunion. I must be getting old, my sight seems to have failed me in recognizing a few of you!! It looks like you all had a great time. Now that we are online...maybe I can plan to attend the next one. Since HS, I graduated from the U of M with an interdepartmental major with a criminal justice concentration. An interdepartmental major is the degree they give you when you can't make up your mind what you should major in!! That was the 70's for you. I ended up working as a chemical dependency counselor for about 12 years off and on. (Off and on because programs keep closing for lack of funding.) In between working I was married a couple of times. Guess I had trouble making up my mind there too. :) I graduated with a Master's in Counseling Psychology in 1991 and worked in various Chemical Dependency programs in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Wisconsin. Finally met the wonderful man I am married to now in 1987. We were married in 1995 in Banff, Canada. Took awhile to make sure of it this time. :) We spent 5 years in Canada and I took 5 years off to play. What a great place to live!! We recently moved back to states and we are currently residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth,TX area. You know, that state that thinks it is a nation by itself? Interesting adjustment!! I will probably be returning to work this next year. My husband works for Sabre Inc, which split off from Amercian Airlines a couple of years ago, so we have just a few computers in our home. I never would have imagined having my own computer at home back in 1970. Kids these days don't know what a typewriter looks like. No Children, but I keeping thinking I am still young; after all what about that 65 year old woman who gave birth a couple of years ago? :) It's been great to read everyone's comments. I will check back often to see if we have managed to accumulate more. I will pass on the website to Paul Tegenfeldt and Kathy Harpole Rude. Thanks for all your hard work and hope to see you in 2002. (I better get going on that diet and face lift!) Gloria

I just got done looking over all the photos. They were great and it looks like everyone had a great time. I wish I would have been there. I married my sweetheart that I met while working at Daytons my senior year. His name is Barry and is the cousin of fellow classmate Sue Elfstrom. We have now been married 27 years. We have two sons, Brett whose 23, graduating from URI this fall and Kurt whose 21 and has a computor tech support and A+ certification but likes to travel. He lives in New Orleans now. I went to North Hennepin Community College and received a degree in Retail Store Management and Marketing & Sales. We lived in Maple Grove before we moved out here because of Barrys job transfer. He is the controller for Textron Financal Corp. We've been out here since 1986. We do get back to MN at least once a year to visit family. I haven't worked fulltime since Brett was two years old. It was more important to us that I was Mom and it was the right decision. Right now I work part time at our church as the Volunteer/Activites coordinator, which I love to do. I get to plan all the parties, etc. We recently moved into a new home this past June. We wanted to downsize but couldn't find anything we liked so we ended up with a larger house, that's maintance free on the outside with a smaller yard. We have plenty of room for guest if anyone comes out this way. Hopefully when another reunion is planned I'll be able to come. It would be great to see everyone again.

It was nice seeing all of you, wish we could do this more often. Some of you people want to know why I'm so bald, its one of two things, maybe falling out of an airplane for 25 years with no helmet or too many U turns under the bed sheets.

I felt so bad that I couldn't make it, but I ended up coming down with strep throat. I have so enjoyed reading through the entries and the pictures are priceless. Thank you so much for taking the time to add the names. I knew who the majority of the people were, but there were some I was totally surprised with.Again, thank you for all of your efforts. This was such a positive experience. I am still telling people about who I come accross. It is amazing how many people still live close around and I never seem to run into anyone. Well, maybe I do and I just don't recognize them!!

Where do I begin... First, thank you Cindy for your big time effort into locating me, and to the others for working so hard at organizing the past and next reunion. If you need any help, call. Just got done looking at the pics and reading the bios, and it sounded and looked like it was a blast. Randy Benson! What happened to your hair? (You can laugh with me or at me at the next.) After graduating from HS, I married and concentrated my homemaking skills on husband and two great kids, Christopher, 30, and Tara 28. Fourteen years later, (1984) I divorced, went back to school, graduated, and worked for a family law/bankruptcy firm. Years later I ended up with a new job and an Irish husband. Both are great!! My husband is self employed and we live in the Hamline College neighborhood (Newell Park), and we are foreveer working on our "old" house. For the last nine years I've worked full time for the Chief Clerk's office, at the MN House of Representatives which is very exciting especially during session and elections.

Dave, you are a saint. Adding the names to the photos....well, it all came rushing back to me like a hot kiss at the end of a wet fist...whatever that means. There were a few, no matter how long I looked at the photos and rambled through the Rambler that I would have recognized...Randy Benson, Bob Kennedy, Duncan Kirkwood, Joannie Meyer, Kathy Roarke...and Dick Ernest, for gawd sakes ...the rest I pretty much knew though. Thanks for saving me alot of investigative work. Now you are really making me regret not having attended.

Its November and the party ended a long time ago. I finally checked out the web site and really enjoyed reading everyone's comments. It sounds like a great time was had by all. Living in California makes it really hard to get back to any of the events in Ramsey's history. Someday I would love to be able to attend. In fact, it would be a good idea if I did because after looking at the pictures, I need a refresher course on the '70 graduates of Ramsey High! After graduation, I went to Bethel College and graduated with a math teaching degree. I married John Merritt and we moved from Northern Minnesota, to Wisconsin to San Francisco Bay area. We have lived here for 12 years. Our three kids have almost all left the nest. Our youngest is a senior in high school. I'm still teaching school (paying for kids college education). If you need a place to stay while visiting this sunny warm climate, please give me a call.

Well, just like all the Homecomings and Proms during High School, looks like I missed another fun party. I get back to visit my family usually a couple times a year...my parents still live on Snelling and sometimes I just sit on the front lawn for hours and wait for someone to honk and wave as they drive by like they did way back when. It was very unsettlinging actually because I seldom knew who the hell it was... not unlike looking through the photos of the party. I kept asking myself , Who the hell is that? I think I recognized a third of the faces. I would have loved to have been there, but as it turned out I had just been back of few weeks earlier to celebarate with my family my son's first birthday, Oct. 6th. (Talk about late bloomers, Joan). I got to see a couple old grads I keep in contact with...Kachel and Marci (I think she taught me how to french kiss in HS) and try to get the latest update on the friends that they know about. I had been hoping that a 30th would have occurred but didn't find out about it until too late. A short bio...after the UofM, traveled in Europe for a year and after a short return stay in MN came out to 'visit' my sister Kate in Colorado and ended up staying...that was in 1978. After one failed marriage (it wasn't my fault), I remarried (not the same woman) at 45 to my love, Leslie...whom, putting in perspective, was in kindergarten at the time we were graduating (well, Kachel's wife was in pre-school at the time and Phippen's I don't even know if she was born yet). As stated earlier, we have a wonderful little boy, Max, and we couldn't be happier... although Leslie would prefer it if I didn't work so much. I am a Landscape Architect and for the past 12 years have worked for the firm EDAW in Denver. It HAS been fun going through all the comments and photos...you guys did do an incredible job. I would have loved to reminisce the night away and see old friends. Now that I have some addresses and phone numbers I'll look some of you up...and if you get to Colorado, do the same.

Hi All, Have enjoyed looking at all the great photos and seeing familiar faces, tho I couldn't make out the name tags, I did remember some names. (I have trouble remembering my own at times.) Sounds like it was a great evening and ws sorry that i was unable to attend. I was in Charleston with Roxie Lien and we did think of you all. This site is really great and thanks to all of you have made it so! I hope that there are plans for another reunion and that even more will be able to attend. I have been in NC for 14 yrs and am finally getting used to the slower pace. Have been married for 22 years to a now retired career Navy man, have a son,17, and a daughter,14. (I am definitely a late bloomer...)Have been an RN since '73 and am now working in an Endoscopy unit, so for all of us fast approaching 50,it is time to have our colonoscopy. (I'm not kidding!) Anyhow, it would be great to see all of you again and hope that plans for another gathering will take place soon!

Nothing is more endearing than the laughter of friends! It was wonderful to see everyone...there were moments during the evening it almost felt as though we were standing on "the ramp" waiting for the bell to ring. Thanks to the planning crew...you're the best! And to my kindergarten pals, Ankerfelt & Ahlgren...thanks for the laughs! Oh and Meehan...get it straight...you were the one that said people might remember you as an "ass hole"...my response was "every class need a resident ass hole."

Many thanks to Dave, Gary, Marykay, Cindy and Clare for planning this reunion and for tracking me down after my many moves around the country. I never expected that I would be one to attend high school reunions since being so shy and insecure back then, high school wasn't an easy time for me and I was thrilled when it was over and behind me. Fortunately, life is a great teacher and we can begin to learn and know differently about ourselves and others. Anyway, I had a great time reconnecting with old friends and classmates, initiating new friendships, and had a lot of fun. I do hope, as I heard Cindy and Marykay mention, that we may be celebrating turning 50 years old (Eeeeeekk!) with another reunion. I look forward to it!

After attending the University of Minnesota, I moved to Chicago. I spent 18 years as an independent software consultant. In the early 90s, I went back to school and graduated from the University of Chicago with a Ph.D. in Sociology. I'm teaching at American University in Washington DC. In Chicago I met and married Denise Carter; we have one daughter.

Whew! What a night! I was only supposed to stay an hour or so. (plans to sit in a tree at 5:00 AM saturday) How could anyone leave what a great time! I agree with most that after a stir of the gray cells every thing came back to me.This is a first that Scotch consumtion actully helped me remember. Thanks to you guys for doing this. Hearing what everone is up to now really makes me happy. By the way I went out with Sue Loveridge myself. I work with her brother and I told him that. He talked with her and she said she never did! Unlike my brother in-law I just knew we went out . No recollection of what we did. Sue must have had other things on her mind in high scool. Pat McGuiggan, it was great to sit and talk trade stories on how our bodies are falling apart. I don't feel so lonely with all my aches and pains. You girls all looked great! It was like the Ciff notes version of what everyone has been doing with themselves. I just wish we had two more days to see everyone. The night ended so fast. Sorry Mike P. for not making your "after party" I was trying to be responsible. (See things do change) As it was I did make my date with the tree although not feeling all that great. But it was worth it. Pat Mc and I felt we should do this once a year. What's one night a year? If there is anything I can do to help with the next feel free to call. Shucks at the end of the night I had to give group hugs just to get everybody in before the place closed. Thanks to everyone who came and sorry to those I didn't get to talk with. Trully my loss. All the best to everyone Peace.

I second..and third..etc the comments: Smiles, Hugs and Laughter. Thanks to all who attended! Those St. Rose of Lima kids, didn't remember there were so many of us! Great Picture! Thanks to David for being our Committee Chairman, you are the best! Gary,Clare and Cindy: what a great Team! Many people said they would like to do another "Fun Night", I agree...with everyone's help we can get more classmates contacted. I also like the idea of a 2002 reunion: nothing formal, but fun..to mark our entrance into age "50" Keep the info coming on classmates, I am updating Cindy's Data Base. Best wishes and good health to all. MKK

Do you guys know that we had the best class ever? You are all such nice people. I haven't had so much fun or laughed so hard since we did all the things we reminisced about. I wish I could have talked to everyone, even the people I never knew. Thanks Mary Furey for the ride with Bonnie C. and Sue L. for the ride home. Mari G. talking to you put me back to 6th grade. We danced all night to "Love Me Do" and Sue A. played "Where have all the flowers gone" on guitar at 2 different parties. What ever happened to Jim Carter? Thanks for the party - Dave, Gary, Marykay, Cindy and Clare. Hail Ramsey High, to you we are true, long we will remember your white and blue, Ramsey High. See ya all soon, I hope. Deb Ankerfelt said it all, Thanks Deb.

Thanks all. I had a blast. I came early and left late. I called my old buddies, some who I hadn’t seen in 20 years…Mark Baden, Duncan Kirkwood, Kent Erickson, Tom Flaherty, Pete Arnesen, and Dick Ernest. Called many of them the night of the party to make sure that they all showed up. I was successful! My old neighborhood was well represented…Cindy Browne, Dick Ernest, John Kachel, Gary Smith, Dave Johnson. It was really fun to relate old stories. It was particularly funny when I mentioned to Mark Baden that he went out with Sue Loveridge (who looked fabulous, then and now) and Sue was standing behind him. He turned to talk to her and she didn’t remember ever going out with him. Twice he went out with her! I even remembered! I laughed so hard! Mark left quite an impression on her. Mary Graiziger Gagne hasn’t changed. She has a good memory, too. Lots of good stories about us (the boys) dropping pencils in class to get beav shots. Dropped a lot of pencils that year. Mary and Judy Kruse didn’t catch on until we told them latter in our senior year. Of course, they were appalled…maybe not. Duncan’s nickname for me…(being a redhead) *carrot crotch* not *carrot top*. Seeing Randy Benson still alive. How about seeing Tom Smith! He looked great. Real happy. Great big smile. Sometimes in high school, I wondered if he would survive to adulthood. Found out that there are at least 4 of us Ramsey grads living on Bald Eagle Lake. Kent and Tom and I had some good memories to share about our over indulgences after high school. Had some good talks with many others. I think I was smiling all night long. Thanks again. Until next time.

Wow! What a blast! Being the only one who hasn't aged, I was a bit uncomfortable at first, but boy did I get comfortable in a hurry. For only the 117th time in my long married life, I was greeted in bed after the party by my lovely wife with; "Christ, you reek!" Ya ya ya... Thank you to those who put this on. I had allowed myself to forget what a great bunch of people we grew up with. It was such a treat to see you all. Before my liver explodes, or Drange's hemroids finally do him in, let's please do this again.

When I heard about the reunion, I tried to go back in time and remember what all happend at Ramsey. It seemed like a lifetime had passed since H.S. But as I started to reflect,it was only a skip in time. Walking into Awadas on Friday night, there were only a few people I could recognize. But as the evening "seasoned" , the wrinkles, baldness and potbellies melted away and I saw the 18 year old buddies again. Even kissed my "X" goodbye. Thinking back on the night still makes me smile. Thanks to all who organized the wonderful evening.

Wow!! Friday night was truly a magical night for me too. Early on, as I struggled to recognize each new attendee, I seemed to be in a place invaded by strangers. Hey, Randy Benson had no hair!! Ken Bonneville's hair was just like he said it looked on the barber's floor, but, it had turned white while still on his head !! Mike Phippen.... this guy hadn't changed a lick but, this seemed more than a little spooky. So, suspiciously, I thought I might be looking at a modern day reincarnation of Dorian Gray !!!But, as the room filled with people, slowly there was a feeling of warmth and familiarity. I knew all these people. Their good characters (and I mean "characters") were beginning to shine through. And suddenly, magically, 30 years evaporated. There they were... just like 30 years ago!! Characters!!! Deadwood Scotty and Kay L... Showgirl tough and computer bitte, Jim M.... Warm and friendly, Debbie A... Helpful, Dan M. Pat McGuigan, he never stopped the beaming smile ALL NIGHT LONG. A very entertaining, engaging Chuck Drange... Foxy Roxy, Beautiful Bonita, Lonni, Bonny H. Mary G and Sue L... Bobby K., cruising with good eyes... Bruce H, laughing... My new friends, Cindy, Clare and Gary. Even some of the ones I knew well, MKK, Dan R, Doug L... all having fun. Better late, Billy Cards and that lovable Texan, Sue. And, yes, "Payne" (Tom) Smith.
Of course, then there was me, making up for lost time, flyin' red-faced high, stealing a kiss from everyone I liked before but, never took the chance. Wow that Marcie, huh? Taught well, she was. I guess we become more observant with age and our characters more defined. And though I knew you all, you were somehow different. Better, I think. I no longer noticed that you were older.
Then there was this unnamed person, very unsure and uncomfortable with this kind of gathering, who was moved to tears by her own courage of attending. Yes, very magical and personally rewarding for me. Later, I found out Phippen was not Dorian. He displayed some kind of virtue. Humility, I think but, I was feeling too good to try to go too deep - Whew!!! - probably would have fallen off the deep-end. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Characters one and all. It is my loss to have been unable to be personally close to every one of the 550 from our class but... I saw old friendships renewed and new friendships bloom. This is life, I guess? Kinda special. Please forgive me if I have left you out. I am running out of paper.
Please check back at this site over the next few weeks and I will include party pictures from anyone who wants me to put them here. I should have some posted by tonight (11/5/00)
e-mail attachments only please... to the address above.
Thank you, one and all, sincerely,
Dave

Well this internet thing-y got me again (sigh) - wouldn't allow emotion signs, so I'm tryin' again; wish ya could see my smiling face. I'm inserting a cupla smiles, and correcting a typo, so if thisworks, just ignore my previous post. *THANX* again to Marykay, Clare, Cindy, Dave and Gary - *God*, what a *great* time. If the ISP won't handle the nude photos - *what* a *party* - just e-mail them to me directly (smile). Guess I have the distinct honor, and privilege, and beingthe first to make post-get-together comments. (Are all you old geezers still *sleeping* ? ) Thirty seconds after Cindy McGuiggan Schwie asked me: "Aren't you that scumbag lawyer?" Mary Graiziger Gagne said to me: " *Every* reunion committee needs an asshole, and *you're* nominated". (smile) Christ, I was on my *best* behavior, how can they talk to me like that? (bigger smile, it's a *JOKE*, ok? ) 'Twas grand, just *grand*, to see y'all, let's do it again. I'm disappointed that I didn't get a chance to speak with each and every one of ya - *next* time, ok?

An evening of pure delight and wonderment. It's probably good that this past Monday - when I went to my office and my calendar came up and said "class reunion - Friday Awada's" - I thought I would have so much time. Time of lose 10 pounds, time to find a new outfit, time to find a plastic surgeon......but the night was upon me and the antipication of seeing old friends was so exciting. Every where you looked on Friday evening...there was someone to hug, someone you wanted to tell "I have missed you", "You look wonderful", "you haven't changed a bit".....and in all honesty - none of us had. We are all 30 years older, a little greyer (except Mary Graiziger), a little more wrinkled (except Diane Freyberger), a little wider (except Susan Ahlgren)and the boys.....some with fewer hairs (except Bob Kennedy), some a little rounder then taller (except John Kachel).....but what an eveing. An ability to recall times, as if they just happened yesterday is a wonderful thing and we all did that. Everywhere you looked you saw a moment at least 30 years ago. Many were much longer ago then that. Sleep overs with Bonita Cook in grade school. Mark Baden's birthday parties - I think I was the only little girl there...he gave me polished aggets. One of my favorites was seeing Tom Flaherty - the first boy that liked me-9th grade-and how when he held my hand-it took my breathe away...just yesterday. Going dancing with Joanie Meyer, Bell Rae Ballroom, Susan and Mary and how that 43 year friendship continues year after year with no expectations other then being friends since 1st grade.......and on and on. For those of you that couldn't be with us. Your names were mentioned - always with great fondness and memories attached. We missed you. To those who helped organize this wonderful evening. Thank you. I will think of last night for a very long time. It not only will bring me a smile but tears as well. We are all so lucky to have spend those years together and have the opportunity every once in a while to hold hands in our minds and "take our breathe away". Thank you ALL for the past 43 years. They really have been terrific

*THANX* again to Marykay, Clare, Cindy, Dave and Gary - *God*, what a *great* time. If the ISP won't handle the nude photos - *what* a *party* - just e-mail them directly to me. Guess I have the distinct honor, and privilege, of being the first to make post-get-together comments. (Are all you old geezers still *sleeping* ? )Thirty seconds after Cindy McGuiggan Schwie asked me: "Aren't you that scumbag lawyer?" Mary Graizger Gagne said to me: " *Every* reunion committee needs an asshole, and *you're* nominated". Christ, I was on my *best* behavior, how can they talk to me like that? Grand, just *grand*, to see y'all, let's do it again. I'm disappointed that I didn't get a chance to speak with each and everyone of ya - *next* time, ok?

Marcie, can't wait to see you again. You know who!

I'm sure we could all agree, life has been a TRIP. I currently divide my time between teaching privalely 60 piano students each week and caring for my home and family. The only degree I ever received was THE THIRD degree and that was from The School of Hard Knocks. My children range from 26 to 16 - three in all. I'm married to the man of my dreams......a Research Scientist from 3M, who could be retiring any minute -- me, I'm just tired! My passions continue to include animals and my faith life.

Looking forward to tonight. Life has been good. After graduation I traveled a bit with my musician husband and my son, Christian, was born in 1975. Divorced, graduated from college, and a few years later married a cop. During that time I began working with troubled youth -focusing on first-time youth offenders and at-risk kids. My daughter, Kelly, was born in 1986. After 12 years of marriage, we divorced. I enjoy politics (behind the scenes) and have been a campaign manager for a couple Roseville city council candidates and a Ramsey County Commissioner (all successfully elected). A few years ago, I took a position as Legislative Assistant to Ramsey County Commissioner Jan Wiessner. Jan represents Roseville and the surrounding suburbs. Two years ago, I decided to move out of the political relm and back into real life. I accepted a job as executive director of the Forest Lake Area Youth Service Bureau and love every minute of it. My staff of 21 are great. I really enjoy advocating for youth and families. I am into social justice issues and frequently lobby the legislature. My son, Chris, is a district executive with the Boy Scout organization. Kelly is an 8th grader at North Branch Middle School(very tall and plays basketball). North Branch is a great place - it's like Roseville was 35 years ago. Everyone knows everyone. I am now married to a wonderful man who shares my interest in social justice issues. The only person I keep in touch with is Jackie Deeb(Murawski). Jackie isn't quite connected to the internet yet - but wants you to know that she will be there tonight.

My family and I are enjoying sunny Southern California. My husband Bill and our three children, Krista (12), Angela (9) and Billy live in Alpine which is located about 30 minutes east of the city of San Diego. Alpine is a beautiful, quaint and small mountain community of about 25,000 people.I am currently working one day a week as a dental hygienist and just keeping up with our family schedule and loving it.
After high school and college I worked for several years as a school hygienist in St. Paul and Minneapolis. I took an eight year break and became a flight attendant for NWA. I lucked out leaving the airlines with life time passes so our family visits my Mom and Dad in Roseville quite often.
I am looking forward to seeing you all at Awadas.
Bonnie

I have lived-worked-played in Duluth for the past 23 years. I do Day care/Foster care and work with American Indian kids. I graduated from St. Scholastica College two years ago--my son Jasha and I graduated from college the same year. My oldest son Jonah-26 lives in Mpls.and Jasha-24 and Jorel-22 live in Madison. I also have a fourteen year old foster daughter Carla. My home is a big old Victorian house that is used by musicians, athletes, artists and friends of friends as a place to stay when traveling in this area--it keeps life both interesting and a little unpredictable. I run and snowboard and hope we have more snow this year than last year. Thanks to all who worked on organizing this reunion.

Thanks so much for organizing this event, looking forward to it. So glad to see all of the updates and the interest in this reunion! Echoing the sentiment, "We're getting old." This year suffered my first kidney stone attack, The oldest son turns 26 on Nov.4, he is making me a grandpa around Thanksgiving and have been married to Lorinda Wilson (72) for 27 years, Daughter 23 (just married, to a Packer-Backer?), and our youngest is now 20 and is at the U of AZ, no teenagers left in the house, YEA . Life is good! Brief recap: graduated form U of M in Metallurgical Eng, spent some time in Ohio, then an MBA at night from St. Thomas. While in engineering worked on laser windows, naval nuclear reactors, and then in a foundry, great consistency. Then I became ruined and went into sales and management. It sure does help the golf game. Retired once, got bored, Actually the wife told me to get the hell out of the house. Started a new venture 5 years ago and working harder now than before, still time for golf and cards. Love getting Strommen's money on the course, still see many of the Ramsey alumni in the area. See everybody on Friday.

I attended Augsburg College to continue the long tradition of Strommen's to attend the college going back to my grandfather, my parents, my uncles, aunts and 15 of my cousins, I continued playing soccer at Augsburg, and was Head Soccer Coach at Blaine Sr. High for 3 years were I started a psychology department for the district in addition to my coaching. I continue coaching soccer through our community traveling program(NSSA) and will be starting my 15th summer in 2001. I entered the family business in 1978 and have been there ever since. I got married to a great lady, Andrea, from Iowa who I met at Augsburg. We have three wonderfull kids, Bjorn (21) who is at Gustavus, Hans (19) at Augsburg,(we needed one to start a fourth generation at the school), and have a daughter (16) at Mounds View High School. I see Jim Mishek often on the golf course at North Oaks, and I have developed a passion to transfer some of his wealth to me, the competitive drive has not left and the taste of victory continues to be great for all the bragging rights that come with a win. Barb Hefty (now Bailey), Jim Meehan,John Haas, Bill Cafferty, Kent Erickson are a few of the old gang that I still run into on occations within the cities, it will be fun to see others on friday night. I still see Bob Erdman, the former basketball coach often. life passes so very fast, it is good to have a wonderful family, great memories and great freinds,.............. until Friday night

I can't believe so many of us still live close to "home". I have lived next to Jackie Deeb for 20+ years and Pat Smith lives down the road. Its great to "see" what eveyone is doing. After AR I went to the U of M and got a pharmacy degree. I've been working as a pharmacist for the last 25 years (that seems like a long time!!) I married Don Johnson (no not that one) in '74. We have 3 children - Lisa (a sophomore at the U of M - a physics major) - Michael (a senior at Centennial High School) - Peter (a sophomore a Centennial High School). I spent my free time reading, biking, and I love to travel! I hope everyone has a great time on Friday!!

I know who tried to lick Marcie's tonsils... A.K.A. The Tongue !!

I went out with Ed Marinaro!!!!!!!

Thanks to all you organizers - it's been fun to read all the comments (Marcie - who was it? Mary - I think I went out with another of Ed Marinaro's roommates - in Miami???). I'm still getting used to the fact that this is the year 2000, and that I'm 48 years old. I envisioned it for a long time. Thirty years! Strange, strange, strange. After school I went to the U of M like so many others. Then I got married, starting working, etc. Then I got married again, in 1980. Kept working, etc. Survived a divorce in 1996 - took off to visit a friend in Dallas, decided to go to Germany with my friend. Got married again while living in Germany (to a Canadian), then went to Russia to adopt a little girl - the sweetest girl in the world. Moved to Boston (20 miles out of town) about two years ago. Am living happily ever after, after all. My husband just "kind of" retired - so now we're thinking of where we really want to live for the next few years. So - in the meantime, I am keeping busy with yoga, riding lessons, taking care of Ellena (six years old) and Robert, my husband. I also have a 22 year old (step) daughter in school in British Columbia - she's great - a little hippie with a big heart. I visit MN a few times a year and keep in touch with Diane Freyberger and Sherren Rothbauer. I truly hope everyone has a great time Friday night - can't wait to see some pictures and hear some stories.

Thanks for organizing this reunion. I've enjoyed reading about everyone. After Ramsey I attended St. Cloud State for 2 years and received an AA degree. I was more interested in my MRS degree to Bob and have never regretted it. We've been married for over 25 years. He owns DuFresne Manufacturing in Vadnais Hts. and White Bear Lake. I own Diane's Interiors - a hobby business selling window treatments, etc. We have 3 children - Brian is 23. He graduated from the U of M last spring and will be getting married next October. Christopher is 18 and attends the U of St. Thomas. Ashley is 13. She is in 8th grade at John Glenn Middle School. I keep busy with all of them (especially Ashley) taxiing her to soccer spring, summer and fall and gymnastics. We all enjoy travelling and going up north to our cabin.

I can't resist the chance to see the guy who taught me how to french kiss! I'm towing along with me, Cindy Lambert(Weber) and Karen Ruohonemi(Sigstad). We have remained close friends throughout all these years and are occasionally in the company of Ann Ledy,as well. Roxanne Lien stills makes my face hurt from laughing so hard when I talk to her on a pretty regular basis. Chris Olson will be home in Boulder, Colo, no doubt, taking care of his 1 year old and recovering from the dinner he had at my house last month. Candy Gerhke is still one of the best skiers I've ever skiied with and Jackie Deeb has the greatest light show at Christmas. I am blessed with continuing friendships from my high school days. Looking forward to the evening and renewing old acquaintances! Stats: Married, 2kids - Meryl(11) and Darren(16), Associate to the Dean, Medical School, UofM

Great website!! I've enjoyed reading all the comments. Here's some bio on me. After HS, I worked for my Dad in the Beauty Pageant Business. Traveled to exotic places as Waterloo IA, Yankton SD,. In '75 I married Pete (who's roommate in Mn was Ed Marinaro_ MN Viking/actor. We had Tony in '79 (21 yrs) then got transfered to Kansas City in '81. Had Nick in '81 (19yrs). Stay at home mom while boys were little. Started Contracting Business, but didn't workout. Now working for IBM Corp. for able 7 yrs. I've been married for 25 years. Both of my boys are attending college in Kansas. Have fun on Friday.. sure wish I could go but I just got back from Minnesota and am going again during Thanksgiving time. A few of my sisters still live in the Minnesota area. Have Fun!!

Hi, Just surfed on and I know I'll be back to look at the pics of the naked 48 year olds! Hope you all have fun...

Yes, the web site will keep going after the "get together". We will post some pictures and whatever else people want to submit. (Party down, but be aware our ISP and some spouses will appreciate it if there is no nudity in these photo's - bummer)However, eventually, the web site needs a permanent home with a "real" domain name. We need to "move on" from Smartgolf... especially since Smartgolf is going the way of most e-businesses these days. If anyone has suggestions where "beggars" like Rams70 could post a page N/C, please let us know.
If you have not registered on the site, click here to see a 1970 trivia message that went out to everyone today.

I will be bringing my digital camera to the reunion on Friday night and yes we have plans it post the pics on this site after the party. If anyone else has a digital camera, please don't forget to take it along with you. Should be a fun night...can't wait!

11/1/2000 - I left my work e-mail the other day, this is my home e-mail - and since I won't be at work for a few days, thought I would change it. Just heard from my sister-in-law Nancy Davis - she is hoping that after the Friday night get together, that this website will be updated so she and others who could not attend can find out what went on. She also asked if any pictures would be posted on the web. That either would be interesting or scary. See you Friday.

Thanks to everyone that was involved in putting the reunion together! Life has been an adventure since graduating from ARH. I had been working as an RN for many years and now I am working in the work comp system as a QRC (Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant) and also contract with the Federal Goverment as a Field Nurse. I've been married 26 years, and have two children, Jennifer (22) and Justin (20).See You Friday Judy (Wiebolt) Connolly

Good Idea. Looking forward to seeing some old friends. See Dan Hilger once in a while and hear from Gary Sasson about once every 3 or 4 months. Can't believe it has been 30 years. Time has flown by. Went to AR, U of M and Hamline College after school while trying to hold down 2-3 jobs to pay for it. Started a business while still in school and sold it 6 years later. Joined my Dad's firm doing safety and Loss Control work and bought the company when he retired. Recruited by a large Insurance Company and have been in the field in a variety of positions ever since. Still dable in art and sculpting and have done several book covers for friends and fellow authors. Sculpt, paint and sell miniature figures for the hobby industry and collectors, museums, etc. Finished twenty-five year research project on Charleston Arizona (Tombstone's cowboy town) and book should be available in 2001 to the general public. Have recently contributed to several author's works on the American West, WOLA and NOLA and many historical old west websites. My SASS handle is Deadwood Scotty on many of these sites. Got married and divorced after 10 years but had four wonderful children along the way. Brad who is the oldest at 24 is single, works for an industrial water pump company designing their webpage and products ad's, has a cable wrestling show (on the Shoreview system), writes a column called Wrestling Wrap-up, has two self published comic books (and is looking for a national distributer) that have done very well and is pretty creative. Second is Erik at 21 and is single, works for Cub Foods and also helps his brother with the cable show doing the in studio video/sound editing, is a collector of baseball cards and plans to go to school this spring for computer system designs. Both boys are heavily involved in fantasy football and baseball leagues (which they have conned their Dad to join with them and bring Brad out of the basement of the league- must have done something right as we are leading the league after the 9th week). Krista is 3rd in line and is 20 and single, attends St. Catherines Mpls. College while working full time for a group of attorneys in Downtown, Mpls. She wants to be a drug counciler for kids. She had some bad experiences with drugs while attending Irondale, got hooked, hit bottom, but managed to get herself into treatment and changed her life. She graduated early from both Irondale and her drug free school and got scholarships to St. Kates. She has been sober for 3 years and is very happy with her life now. Dad is very proud of her. James is the youngest and is a freshman at Irondale, is 6'4" and 240 lbs, plays football and is a pitcher in baseball. Got married 11 years ago to Linda Reding who is from Algona Iowa and after working in the medical field for 25 years switched gears two years ago and is working in customer relations/internal reviews for Fortis Insurance Co. She loved the change and the challenges of her new job and career. Both enjoy Arizona and try to get there as often as we can. Planning to retire there someday. That's it in a nutshell. Adios mi' amigos.

Thanks to the group who got this “reunion” going for this Friday night. Still not sure if I can make it or not, but will try. It’s fun finding out what we have all “become” in the short time span of 30 YEARS! God, how time flies when you’re having whatever. I have lived up in Forest Lake the last 8 or so years. (Some of you are close enough to be my neighbors, it seems). Been working at Minnesota Nurses Association for the past 10-1/2 years. Not married, but been with the same guy for nearly 7 years. He has a knack for pointing out stray dogs, cats, squirrels, birds, etc. and convincing me our home is the only home these poor critters can possibly heal and gain good health in. Then they never leave. Past ½ year for us has been interesting - Charlie and I were taking down one of our gigantic oak trees when it decided to take Charlie down. He has been recovering from a shattered hip and shoulder. So guess who has been sawing and splitting up all the damn wood - finally brought myself a present - a wood splitter. I actually enjoy it - none of the dogs brother me when that thing is running. Also, he had finally convinced me to learn to ride my own bike instead of being a sack of potatoes on the back of his. But, I put that off - next year. Has anyone heard from Harry Henderson - know what he is doing these days? Bob Ungar? It’s nice to know, Terry Thone, what your married last name is, who would of figured. Val Weigt works at the same place as I do. Nancy Davis has been married to brother Rick for 29 years - poor thing. Well, hope to see you all, will do what I can to show up.

HELLO EVERYBODY..... I am going to try to make it. Thanks

The web page is a great idea, but I must admit I had to dig out my 1970 yearbook to look up the pictures of most everyone! I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1974 and then taught math for a couple years in White Bear Lake. I married a fellow Gustie in 1976 and taught math for a few more years in Cloquet, where we have lived for the last 23 years. I was an "at-home" mom for quite awhile with our two children, Heidi who is now a junior at Gustavus and Dan who is a freshman at Gustavus as well. A little over 8 years ago I started my second career as a lab technician at the Research and Development Divison of Potlatch Corporation, a local Paper Mill. Northern Minnesota has been a nice place to live and a great place to raise children...but I am still a "Roseville" girl at heart!! See you Friday.

Sorry... I missed the comments section the first time around. I could't resist thanking all the folks who put this together, I hope you all have a wonderful time! I was struck by all the different paths people have taken, and yet many of the common themes. As for me, I was fortunate to marry my high school sweet heart Linda (Phillips) and have spent 26 of the most wonderful (well... most often, she is gonna read this) years with her :) After graduating from U of Minn. moved to Cloquet and taught for 6 years. Obtained my MA from U of M - Duluth in counseling (something about wanting to make the world a better place) in 1980. Our 2 sons, Michael and Ryan were born in Minn. We moved to Colorado Springs in 1982, where I found a position as a HS Counselor. Our kids grew, the years passed, and around 1990, I started playing guitar weekends. The gig ran from one weekend to the next, and was a house player for 6 years. I guess old guitar players never die... there strings just stretch out :( After 6 years, I decided I was fortunate to have a career I loved, and still be able to live out a childhood fantasy :) Ohhh yea.... Also while working, I went back to school in about 92 and began working on my Ed.S. degree (I think it stands for Extremely Dumb Shit... or so I am told) finally attained it, and am now a school psychologist. (hmmmm something about wanting to make the world a better place) Lin went back to school a few years ago and is an elementary teacher. She is incredible, thank gawd for her genetic influience on our kids. Our boys are in college now, our oldest is in Information Systems and is looking for an internship. Can anyone help him out? He is the smart one and wants to make money. Our youngest wants to be a police officer... something about making the world a better place... damn, go figure, I told him to make money, but what do I know. Hope your evening is a wonderful one,and may all your tomorrows be as wonderful as you are :)

I was married a year after I graduated to Rick Noer, Sue Noer's older brother. I finally got around to going to college when I was 28 and got a degree in Computer Science from Ohio State. Thanks to Rick I've lived in Ohio, Missouri and California twice. We now live just 4 miles from the ocean, and I work a couple of miles from Disneyland.

Who *ATE* my comments?God, my *kids* know cyberspace better than I ... So now, I'm re-submitting and curious to see if *these* disappear as well. And, a'course, it'll be *really* embarrassing if they *both* show up, and you can read how my memory has lapsed in a mere ten minutes ....... yeah, yeah .... *THANX* to all of you for putting this on, and a special thanx to Dave Johnson for remembering and phoning me, and to Bill Cardinal for remembering to remind Dave to phone me. Now, if I can just stay *awake* til 9:45 when Bill's done bowling, I may get a chance to see him. August '99 we went to Mrs. Meehan's reunion in Las Vegas, and the hilite of the trip (well, *second* hilite ) was sitting at the sidewalk cafe at Paris for three hours, eating creme broule, watching the dancing water founrains at Bellagio. Man, am I gettin' *old*, or what? On the other hand, after playin' poker for three days straight wheile I was in law school, a guy offered to bet me that I wouldn't live to see thirty. Somethin' about a *hard* lifestyle. Well, *he* died in seventy-seven. Go figure . *Really* lookin' forward to seein' y'all.

After graduation, I attended Concordia College in Moorhead and majored in math and teaching. I taught for one year in Pine River, MN and then married a fellow Concordia grad, Al Marquardt, the following summer. We moved to St. Cloud and have been there ever since. I have been teaching math all these years and am currently the department chair at St. Cloud Tech High School. My husband is in printing and we have two daughters in college this year. Lisa is a senior at Gustavus Adolphus and Michelle is in her first year at the University of St. Thomas. We keep in touch with classmate Barb (Bruns) Brandt, now in Cloquet, and see her family fairly often. Look forward to seeing many of you in St. Paul on Nov. 3rd!

Hello, I am busy with work and raising a daughter, she is 14 yo and very dedicated to girls basketball, my husband and I know the insides of all the surrounding area school gymnasium's from all the traveling basketball games. Yea for all the girls sports these days...I can't believe it really has been 30 years...when I am not watching basketball, I am a clinical director of oncology for a physician group in the area or enjoying the lake on our pontoon. Greetings to all!

Greetings all - I talked with Jackie (Deeb) Murawski and she let me know about this get-together. Sounds like fun. Hope all is well - see you soon

A BIG thank you to those who spent the time to organize this get together. Can't believe 30 years have past I thought we were just getting started. For the last 23yrs I have moved around the county with my employer Northwest Airlines as corporate sales manager. Currently residing in Memphis and yes I see Elvis at Mickey D's all the time. I have one son Patrick (19) who is attending college in mpls. Two years ago I had the great pleasure of attending the wedding of 2 of my closest friends from high school. Jim Kirchner and Stephanie Johnson never thought that would happen back in 1970. Life is Good

If I ever get out of here.....I'll look y'all up! Elvis rules! The Beave

Hey this will be great. Life has been good. I married my high school sweetheart Jim Kirchner. We got married 2 yrs ago. We both said we should of married 30 yrs ago. We have 6 beautiful daughter Anita 29 RN at mayo 3 children. Alisa 25 married 2 children Aprill 19 college. Andrea 17 Amanda14 Ashlee 12 All in school. It should be alot of fun.

I thought I would add some comments regarding the last 30 years. My husband Gary and I have been together for 17 years. Between the 2 of us we have 4 childrens and 4 almost 5 grandchildren. Our oldest daughter Angie, 29, is married and has our #5 grandchild on the way-they live in Indiana. Angie - like us was in "aquisition" and aquired 2 children Cameron is 8 and Kelsey is 4 - they are lovely kids and we're glad they are part of our family - when she married her husband David. Our son Tony, 27, is in the Air National Guard in Boise Idaho - he is back in college after spending 4 years in the Air Force. He is a writer and editor for the Guard Newspaper. Our daughter Candice, 26, lives in Indiana and has given us 2 beautiful grandchildren, Cody 6 and Hailey 4. Finally our daughter Ashlee is attending Winona State and is a freshman there. Trying to figure out this college thing. For me - I am with Unisys Corp. I am the Microsoft Relationship Exec for 2 of Microsoft's districts - one here in Minnesota and the other in St. Louis. I spend a little time on airplanes but truly love my job. I am a schmoozer - go figure! My husband Gary is with Dell Computers - so technology is well established in our house. We all have computers. Thank you all for putting this together. Seeing everyone after 30 years will be an evening to remember. We have all come a long way from Alexander Ramsey. I can't wait to spend an evening and catch up. See you then

Sure wish I could attend but I will be in Tokyo visiting a good friend. In reading all the entries, We sure have an interesting class, many I don't know well, but who sound like a lot of fun. Great idea, and I hope we can do another informal reunion. My life the past 30 years has been one wild adventure after another, being married 27 years to Jay Sleiter, architect for BWBR Architects in St. Paul and big brother to Lee Sleiter '70. After getting a BS in Nursing at St. Olaf, we moved to New Orleans for 7 years. I worked as a Cardiac Cath nurse and we explored the Gulf Coast on motorcycle. When the Midwest drew us back, we settled north of Stillwater on 5 acres - great place to raise a family. Bryan 22 is a senior at the UofM in Graphic Design; Darin 16, a horn player, is at Stillwater HS and parttime at the U to pursue math. Lauren 13 is a competitive gymnast. After almost 20 years of CCU and ICU nursing at Lakeview in Stillwater, I decided it would be much more fun to volunteer there and in the School District, giving us more time for vacations-cycle trips around Europe and the US, safaris in Africa, sailing in the Caribbean, snowmobiling in Britich Columbia. My real love is singing in a Chorale group in the St. Croix Valley area. Far cry from Ramsey's Concert Choir! Have a great time on the 3rd and I hope to catch you next time.

After high school, I attended River Falls and received a teaching degree. I have been married to Brian Belisle for twenty two years (as of yesterday). We have four children. Our oldest, Brittany, is nineteen years old and attends the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Adam, seventeen, and Alexis, fifteen, both attend Cretin Derham Hall. Lauren, our baby, is twelve and attends Holy Spirit Grade School. When I am not driving children around I love to play tennis. One day I walked out my front door and saw that Jeff Boston had moved across the street. There goes the neighborhood!!!!!!!!!!!

Lonni Oliver called and told me about the great get together! Sure wish we could get back to Minnesota for it but timing is just not right. I’ll be thinking of you, and Lonni promises to take notes! Well, thirty years........ After Ramsey I went to St. Cloud State, after St. Cloud became a ski bum in Snowmass Colorado for a ski season (couldn’t make any money as a maid or ski instructor) so decided to use what St. Cloud taught me and got a job in the business world. Worked for 3M for 15 years. Something great came out of that, I met my husband of 25 years, Garry. I got a package deal when I got married....3 girls. We just had to have one of our own and we had our fourth girl, Nicole. Nicole is 19 and a sophomore at Auburn University in Alabama and is hoping to be accepted into their vet school. She’s on a full athletic scholarship playing volleyball. Sure does help the pocket book. The oldest two daughters are living in Wisconsin and married. My name to them is now “Grandma” (ouch!) The third daughter was killed in a car accident at the age of 17. January of 1985, 3M transferred us to Austin, Texas. We live just north of Austin outside of Georgetown, Texas, have a little ranch and raise Quarter horses. Garry got an early buy out with 3M and has been enjoying retirement for a little over a year. I got an alternative education certification in Texas and presently I am teaching at an elementary school here in Georgetown. Loving every minute....what a great change from the business world! And whenever we can, Garry and I are on the road traveling the Southeast Conference watching Nicole play volleyball. Well, have a great time everyone. Sure wish I could be there!

I'm happy to see our class is part of the information age - who would have thought we'd be using the web to register for our 30th reunion? I've been in public television for the past 25 years, first at KTCA here in St. Paul, and then two years at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in Washington, DC. The commute was a killer and I moved back to MN last winter. I'm now consulting in public broadcasting, running KTCA's for-profit subsidiary, helping a couple of stations that have run into trouble. Dave Bossard (Class of '69) and I have been married since 1988. No kids, just a German Wirehair pointer named Mocha who is the center of our universe. We live next door to Bob Kennedy on Bald Eagle Lake. Life is amazing. See you all soon.

After High School I attended Junior College for two year and eventually returned to Vocational College where I finished my degree in Occupational Therapy which I am now practicing. I am currently working for Presbyterian Homes Assisted Living facilities with senior citizens. They are great fun and the job is rewarding!Seven years after H.S. I got married to Jim and we now have two children. My oldest Tony, Age 19 attends Mankato and is studying Business and having fun. He is a duplicate of myself, and a lot of fun. My youngest Gina age 16 is at Junior at Roseville. I have been lucky enough to see some of my old teachers (and I do mean OLD). My daughter is a competitive figure skaters so we have done a lot of traveling over the past. We spent two summers in July in Colorado Springs for training at the World Arena/Olympic Center and that was exciting. She plans to continue skating until she graduates.
Myself, I still enjoy sports I play softball on a league, golf and travel whenever I get a chance. The most exciting thing I have done lately was a white water raft trip done the Colorado River, it was so fun and challenging since I don't swim. I would love to do it again!
I would not miss this chance to see everyone and find out how much fun you are all having. I have many fond memories of Ramsey but I know for sure if I could do it all again I would actually study and not be so crazy. Looking forward to November 3rd!

Married in 1975. Have two children Kristi (23) she is married Graduated from UofM with degree in Theraputic Recreation, and lives in White Bear. Daughter Kelly (21) is Senior at UW River Falls, majoring in Business administation. I have been in an insurance agent with The Protectors in New Brighton, for 19yrs. Husband Don, works for Target Corporation as Tranporation Director. Thanks for putting this fun night together, it will be great to see everyone. I still keep in touch with Ann Schiller.

Went to the U of M for 1 1/2 years. Spent the next five years working odd jobs and drinking too much. Started working road construction in 1977. Married in 1979 and have stayed that way ever since. In Nov 1998, owner of company decided he wanted to be instantly rich, ran with the money and put me out of a job by bankrupting the place. April 1999, opened Swing's the Thing Golf Shop in Hudson,Wisc. and am still at it. I've lived in the area all these years and moved to Mahtomedi in 1988. I have two children; Alison (19)-soph. at the U of M, Jacob (18)- senior at Maht. HS. Just found out about this yesterday. Still see Scott Nelson occasionally when our schedules allow. Thanks to those who organized this.

As with most, thank you to the individuals who took the initiative to get us together again. Its hard to believe that so much time has passed. Reading the comments left by others, so much has happended to so many in these years, one would think we were a lot older. After graduation I attened Anoka-Ramsey JC and completed my general-ed courses, transferred to the U of M-Mpls and finished my history major. Worked a few years as a bookkeeper for a few small automotive places, picked up evening classes and finally ended up working for one of the "Big Eight", which is now 4 or 6. I have three children all from Honduras, Faith (14) is a freshman at Hill Murray, plays the harp, should have a CD out by Christmas, plays the piano and dances, My son Adam (13) attends Heritage Middle on the West side, plays violin and piano, and last but not least Jewel (10) attends St Mike's, is a competitive figure skater, attends ballet school, plays the piano and this year has decided! to take voice lessons. Looking forward to Nov 3rd.

Married to Chuck Masterman 1974 - Still together. RN since 1974. Started taking Ballet classes again six years ago. Two sons both graduated from Roseville Area High School(Our School). See ya November 3rd.

I spent four years in the marines, came back home.Went tooschool for my a&p lic. Then got a job installing underground pipe. 1979 married and moved to texas and workedfor Braniff airlines. Stayed with Braniff but not my wifeand worked five years at ORD. For the last 12 years I have worked for Northwest airlines in ST. Paul

After graduation I went to the Univ. of MN, met my lst husband and experienced the greatest change of my life, I became a Born Again Christian. I married for the first time in February, 1975. 13 years and 3 children later (Becky, 23 "00" graduate of Northwestern College in Rosevile, Mark, 20 enrolled at St. Paul Vo-tech in computer networking and Lizzy, 16, junior at Concordia Academy in Roseville) I was divorced. During the time of my first marriage I taught childbirth classes for local hospitals and an independent orgaization. In 1990 I began attending Grace Church in Roseville and met my husband in the Single Again Ministry there. We were married in March, 1992 and now have a total of 6 kids ages 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23 between us (3 currently in college). I have been working for the past 9 years at HealthEast St. John's Hospital in Maplewood as the hospitals Medical Staff Coordinator. Through this job I have been able to travel often to some "great" places. I still see Roxanne Christiansen(Walt), Jennifer Gould (Selby) and have been in contact with Maggie Galvin (Hibbs).

Thanks to the people who have organized this reunion. It is great to see what others have and are doingI graduated from Mankato State in 1973 and came back to the Twin Cities. A 10 year marriage ended in 1990, but we havetwo great kids, Steven who is 14 and at Washington Middle School in St. Paul and Amy who is 18 and a senior at City Academy. Steven lives with me and is crazy for computers and our 3 cats and 2 dogs. Amy has been living with her father on the east side for St. Paul. She has been in a work study carpentry program for 3 years and hopes to go into an apprenticeship after high school. The Como Park neighborhood has been home for tweny years. My husband and I owned one house and then after the divorce, I bought another one by myself just 6 blocks away. We love the house, but just home ownership and parenthood keeps me fairly busy.A few jobs after college did not go very far, but I have been at United Electric, an electrical wholesaler, since 1987. The first position there was just administrative in the credit department, but I made credit manager in 1990 and have been doing that ever since. The job is definitely not boring. There is something more to learn every day.

After graduation I attended the U Of Mn for two years. I then enteredinto the U.S. Navy for four years as a medic. I started workingfor the Ramsey Co. Sheriff as a deputy for three years then moved to the St.Paul Police where I have been for the last 22 years. I am a senior sergeant, and for the past 5 years have been doing traffic accident reconstruction. I am married, have four children and I have a 2 year old granddaughter.

Hi.Some brief history. I completed a B.A. at Smith College in geology and a M.S. at Brigham Young University also in geoloty. For 8 years, I worked as an exploration geologist for various employers, starting in Casper, WY and ending up in Denver, CO. During that time I also married Jeff Johnson and had two daughters, Jennifer and Julianne. Jennifer is now almost 22 and is going to community college and working part time having worked hard to deal with being deaf and having Spina Bifida and an artificial heart valve. Julianne is 19 and a freshman at Brighham Young University. I retrained and after working as an interpreter for deaf high school students, have been a science teacher since about 1986 or 87. I currently teach eighth grade. Jeff is also a teacher and is currently the teacher and administrator for a new day treatment program for emotionally disabled students in our school district. My main just for me activity is that I sing with the Colorado Mormon Chorale and am taking voice lessons. It brings back fond memories of Amahl and the Night Visitors.
I am looking forward to seeing whoever shows up and hope there will be many.
Jan Loftsgaarden Johnson

I graduated from the UofM(BSN,Nursing)in 1975,got married and began 14 years of moving. We lived in Montana twice, Oregon, Connecticut, Texas, and Wisconsin. In 1989 we moved back to MN(never thought we would)with our 3 sons. Trevor is a soph. at St.Thomas, Kyle is a junior, Tom a freshman at Wayzata H.S.. I have worked at North Memorial in Robbinsdale for 11 years and just became the nurse manager in Labor&Delivery. I'm not sure why I stay in the crazy world of health care, but I do love nursing and look forward to the challenges. Jim and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Last night we got carded at a restaurant because we "looked under 50". Used to enjoy getting carded to prove you were over 21, now I hope they keep asking to affirm that I look under 50. Thanks to the organizers of this, its been fun to read.

30 years in a paragraph! After graduating from the U of M in '74 I put my college degree to good use by becoming a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines. After 10 years of seeing the world I decided to hang up the wings and become the neighborhood "Kool Aid" Mom. Presently I work for Mass Connections of CA as an Event Coordinator. Greg and I have 3 children: J.P. is a soph. at U of Notre Dame (also a starting pitcher for the baseball team), Gail is a senior at Cretin-Derham Hall and Peter is in 5th grade at Oak Grove Int. Our lives are fast paced and full of fun! look forward to getting together.

Wanna know what I've been doing for the past thirty years? To summarize it quickly, I graduated from Moorhead State University. I married Ken Borle from Staples, MN. We have three children - Court (22), Carrie Ann (20, and Jonathan (17). The two oldest are in college (Drake Univ. and the U of M). Jonathan is a senior at Forest Lake Senior High. We live on Forest Lake. For the past 13 years I have been the Admin. Assistant to the School Superintendent and the School Board for the Forest Lake School District. Now that the kids are grown up, we have been doing a lot of travelling and plan to continue doing so. (Las Vegas is one of favorite destinations.) I am really looking forward to the get-together November 3rd. I'm sure these past 30 years have been kind to everyone and we haven't changed a bit!

After graduating from Ramsey I attended Bethel College for two years before marrying my husband Dave. We've been married for 28 years and have three wonderful children. Our sons have both married and we have one beautiful grandchild and one due any day now. Our youngest, Heather, just graduated from Moundsview H.S. I worked for 7 years at Bethel College and now am home leading a very busy and fulfilling life. My husband has his own leadership training ministry which keeps us both very busy. The highlight of my year was having my twin sister move in across the street. What a deal!

After Ramsey I attended college for 3 years, got married in 1972 and had three children -- Justin is almost 25 amd married with two children, Lori is 22 and working in Wisconsin at a boy's ranch, Carrie is 18 and just had her first baby 4 days ago. (They all attended Roseville schools so had many of the same teachers that I had while at Ramsey.) So you can see, I'm a very young grandma to three beautiful grandchildren. Since 1991 I've been employed at Bethel College as a senior administrative assistant. (Great tuition benefit) My husband, Sam, has been with Metro Transit for 30 years. He is Director of Transportation and just applied for the assistant general manager position. We purchased my childhood home from my parents in 1975 so had lived in Falcon Heights until last November when we moved to Shoreview across the street from my twin sister, Laurel. That's pretty fun and we do confuse the neighbors. We got married the same year and had all three of our children within weeks of each other. I'm one ahead of her with grandchildren, however. We love to travel (cruises and Mexico especially), camp, and spend time at the family cabin in Crosslake.

I've lived in Dallas for 25 years. I have three wonderful children, Britten, age 22; graduated from Northwestern last spring. Rhett, age 18; a freshman at the Rhode Island School of Design. Bailey, age 16; a soph. at prep school in Massachusetts. Six years ago my first husband died suddenly from a heart attack. We were devastated but survived. Two years ago I remarried, between the two of us we have five children 16-22. I've been very lucky and very blessed. 'Looking forward to seeing everybody!!!!!!!

Thanks for "pulling this together"

I'd like to add my thanks to everyone who's put this together. Great work! I've been an internist in St. Paul for 18 years. My wife, Lori, is a dermatologist. We have 3 wonderful daughters, Kristin, 13, Sarah, 10 and Erica, 7.Jim Moore and I have kept in touch, I'm a year overdue in having them over! I see various classmates from time to time, always a good time.Looking forward to the get together.

My only appearance in a yearbook was during our Junior year. I'm on page 107, top picture, back row, standing next to Paul Leegard. I'm wearing a plaid shirt that is probably best viewed in black and white. Paul is telling me a joke through the side of his mouth and I am trying not to laugh. Unfortunately, I can't remember the joke (more Ginko is needed I guess). I'm also in a lunchroom shot on page 8 of the same book. I'm sitting opposite Dave Schneider and partially obscuring Ted Jarosch. Enjoy.

First I'd like to thank you guys for getting this started. I was disapointed when the summer passed and no reunion? Good show. Thirty years! We are becoming old goats aren't we! Seems like only yesterday......... Just after high school I went to Arizona to find myself. Didn't. I then thought I should do something about this Viet Nam war. Went Washington D.C. to protest. I found myself.....in jail sitting next to Abby Hoffman. Nice guy really. I aways want to go to Boston so I went. Stayed a year, sold flowers, but still had not found myself. Back to Minnesota to find myself. Became a potter/glass blower. I like to eat so that didn't last very long. I didn't mind drinking either so the bar scene seemed to be a good choice. Started at the bottom, well the door really. Bartender. Even Disc Jockey, during the disco days. But I still had not found myself. Maybe a good honest, hard working job would be the ticket. Layed sewer pipe for a time. Then a loading dock. That job was spotty. So I managed a bar or two. The good thing about that is I found who is now is my lovely wife. She just happens to be our classmate Mark Baden's sister, Debbie. I truely had found someone. I told her I would not get married until I was 30 (still had not found myself yet you know), so the year I turned 30 my birthday was on a Saturday, you guessed it I got married on my 30th birthday. Now married (18 years), with eyes on a family I needed to get back to that hard honest job at the freight dock. Hurt, blew my back out. Time to go find myself again. I can't be a father and manage a strip joint, (did I metion I managed a strip joint.)well, I went back to school, graduated and now I've been working at 3M for 13 years as a mechanical designer with the abrasive division. Spent 17 weeks in South Africa (Went on a hunting safari for rhino) recently traveled to England , Wales Germany, Canary Islands, and Spain. Our oldest son Cale went to Capital Hill School for the Gifted. (I think it skips a generation) and is now continuing those studies at St. Paul Cenral as a sophomore. Lettered in both track and wrestling as a freshman and is now competing in cross country. Jake is a freshman at Johnson High and is following his fathers footsteps as a lineman on the football team. He is very creative and is quite the artist. My wife Debbie is an executive secratary at the University of Minnesota as well as PTA president, fundraiser, maid, taxi driver, judge and jury.Yes, I think I found myself....full of hot air! Better quit rambling or I'll have nothing to say on November 3rd. Peace!!

I never left lovely Minnesota after my Ramsey days. I stayed single for 15 years after graduation by playing softball with guys like Bill Cafferty, Dale Wessel, Tim Anderson, Steve Sigstad, John Kelsey and Mike Kriegler. I finally found my mate in 1985 in the office of my Insurance company. So I married her and she is now my Insurance Agent. My wife's name is Wendy. She is a White Bear girl. We have 2 wonderful girls (Ashley 13 and Lacie 11). They are very active soccer players, which keeps us totally busy all year long. I never moved far from Roseville. I lived in Little Canada and now Vadnais Heights. I have been in Purchasing all my business life. I am the Purchasing Agent for the Trane Company (Air Conditioning) in White Bear Lake. Great job, 2 miles from home, no traffic, home for lunch everyday. I spend all my leisure time with John Kelsey. We take many golf vacations together and go hunting for pheasants and ducks all around the US. John is still the greatest guy for those of you who remember him. I wish I would bump into more of the 70's grads since so many of us still live in town. One interesting thing that has happened to me is my 2nd Cousin from California (Dina Morgan) married Clint Eastwood about 4 years ago. So I see Clint Eastwood every year at the annual Morgan family reunion in California or Minnesota. They had a daughter 2 years ago and named her Morgan. I guess that is enough of my rambling. I wish I could come to the fun night, but I will be out of town with John Kelsey. PS - It's funny to here that Cindy McGuiggan married a guy named Ward. I didn't think there were many guys named Ward out there. Good catch for you Cindy.

It's great to hear about a re-union finally. Whoever is organizing this, thanks! Bio stuff: I work for Twin Cities Public Television and I've been there for about 21 years. My job title is Senior TV Director/Producer, and it's been a cool job. I have a 12 year-old daughter, Caitlin, who's attending Roseville Area Middle School (the old Kellogg High School.) I bought my folks house in Lauderdale when they retired and that's where I live now with my daughter, a cat and a new puppy. We ski, camp and canoe, go to our cabin by McGregor alot and have recently taken up rock clmbing. I play guitar with my buddy Bob Whittet as often as possible. Life is good.

I guess it is time to reminisce. Perhaps this will turn into a delayed chat board. Ramblings: I remember in high school in the morning many of the guys would sit on the radiators in the ramp and watch the girls go by and just bull shit until school started. I remember reading in one of our previous reunions one of our classmates stated that he wasn't cool enough to sit on the ramp so he stood just outside the ramp. I never thought of myself as being particularly "cool", but I must have been because I sat on the ramp! I didn't think that it was such an important thing to someone to mention this. I remember Randy Benson always doing something to get attention. One particular day, he zipped his zipper down and pulled his white shirt tail through it and walked up the ramp. At the time we all thought that this was hilarious. I guess I still laugh at some of the things that he did. Randy and I weren't close friends but we knew each other from the 5th grade. When I moved to Falcon Heights, he was assigned to introduce me to the school. For some reason, I got in three fights the first couple of weeks of school. He thought I was so lucky to get in THREE FIGHTS. Gary Smith and I were neighbors. We used to call Gary "Snuffy Smith". (I think it was a Little Abner character.) I also think that I was shy in high school. When I tell that to people that didn't know me then, they laugh hysterically. Obviously, I'm not shy anymore (if I was then). Getting older...I had a friend tell me before I was 35 that it was all down hill from there. Whatever was broken then would never mend. Whatever hurt then would always hurt. There sure seems to be some truth to that. When I get up in the morning my stiffness reminds me of my age. I just recently hurt my knee for the first time. I did it by standing up from a crouched position for god sake! Just stood up. Now I am going to have surgery on friday to clean it up. I play basketball four days a week for an hour and I hurt myself standing up! Go figure. Now that our kids are getting older and they are not a part of our daily lives, we need something to talk about, so we are transitioning to talking about body parts, aches, injuries, bodily functions. I really am enjoying life regardless of these aches and annoyances. It is obvious that we were not made to last forever. Given my current progress in aches and pains, I am amazed that people our parents age can still walk upright. Enough for now. Enjoying life while I can.

Got home late last night and I laughed so hard when I read what Ken Bonneville wrote. This morning, I wanted to get the same laugh that Ken's kids got when I looked at his picture in the yearbook. But, I couldn't find him. Not even in the background of one of those candid shots - the area reserved for the less popular. I know he went to school with us - at least once in a while - I remeber him being there. Perhaps I need new bifocals? If only Bob Kennedy would sign in.

After graduation I spent 3 years at St. Cloud (the college) before I dropped out just long enough to realize I preferred college to working. Eventually, I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Economics. After graduation, I got married and began working at Norwest (now known as Wells Fargo). I’ve been there in one job or another ever since. During the evenings I picked up an MBA at St. Thomas and a JD at William Mitchell. For the past 13 years I have been working as an attorney for Wells Fargo. I have 2 boys. The older of the two is a sophomore at a small college in the Pacific Northwest, the younger is in 8th grade. Part of me feels that I am pretty much the same as I was 30 years ago. Then again, there are a number of things that tell me I’m only kidding myself. Let me give you a few examples: (1) I no longer get carded when I order a drink with dinner (This only happened in my dreams when I was 18); (2) when I show my kids the page in my yearbook that has my picture on it they can’t find me without looking for my name first (and when they find me, they laugh); (3) I can get the same awful feeling that I used to get by staying up late drinking just by staying up late (The new way is less expensive, but the old way was more fun); and (4) when I sit in a barber’s chair, as my hair falls from my head to my lap, it magically changes from the brown I tell myself I still see in the mirror to a snowy white (go figure). Anyway, things have gone surprisingly well. Even so, I know that the AARP looms on a horizon that has gotten a little too close for comfort.

After Ramsey continued working at JCP, added a husband and two sons (Chad, 25, is a Transmission Engineer with Sprint. Tommy, 23, is on a 5-yr plan at college last year receiving two NCAA All-American awards and holds 4 school records in pole vaulting - they get it from me). Left Roseville for Kansas City in 1980. Added another son (Chris, 19, just graduated HS - undecided) and dropped the husband (in that order). Continued the job at JCP (PT) and added one at an insurance company (FT). So far have survived 14 years of mergers, acquisitons, up-sizing, down-sizing, right-sizing and 5 different owners while never leaving the building. It pays to learn (by default) LAN Administration, Telecommunications, Network and User support. Fun things done..... static-line parachuted and sailed through the Great Lakes on a 108ft, 4-masted schooner. This stuff will be fun to read through - great idea - thanks, Dave and the reunion team.

I have considered giving up my Friday night bowling league for this event but, I have my priorities. So I will see those of you who have retained your party "staying power" for these 30 long years - I'll be there about 9:45pm.

We've been in Chicago since 1983, and have three great kids (one in college and two in Middle School) and a crazy dog. Having a wild ride in the technology field with our involvement in the dot.com initiatives. It would be nice to see old friends and catch up on what's happened since we last spoke. As we get older it seems more important to renew old friendships and stay in touch. A special thank you to all the classmates that have taken on the thankless task of coordinating these gatherings.

I’ve been married to my husband Ward for 27 years. We have 2 sons Brad (25) a GeoEnvironmental Engineer and Wes (23) a Mechanical Engineer. When my two sons were at the University of Minn., I decided to enroll. Last year I became the last member of our family to graduate when I received a B.S. in Environmental Communication. Currently, I am the grant manager for a restoration project focusing on the Mississippi River bluffs in St. Paul www.friendsoftheparks.org/MRBR.html. As a family, we have kept extremely active in sports, whether it was rollerblading, downhill skiing, or cycling. Next month I hope those activities pay off when I run the Twin Cities Marathon for the first time!!

Mary - wife of 25 years, tolerates my type A personality. Amy (23) nursery school teacher, Kristen (20) Sophomore - University of Colorado at Boulder. Jon (18) high school senior. I graduated from St Thomas College. After a 5 year career with Norwest, I have been with Viking Materials, a steel distributor, for 19 years as VP/CFO. I am still active in skiing and took up racing at the tender age of 40. The older I get, the slower I get! I have been on the Trollhaugen Ski Patrol for 32 seasons. Each winter I look forward to skiing in Colorado, going to Mexico to sip some cervesas and and "relax" on the beach. I enjoy golfing- Why, I havent't figured out. Many thanks to those who organized the reunion and Web site

Since Ramsey, I went to the U and got a degree in Computer Science. I have lived in... Como area, Highland Park, Rhode Island, Vadnais Heights (17 yrs), and finally on Bald Eagle Lake (3 yrs). I have been married for 25 yrs and have two children. A son 20 and a daughter 18. I work in Roseville on Cty Rd C at MCT Inc. I drive by the school every day on the way to work. I guess I didn't move too far from the nest. I have marginally kept in contact with Kent Erickson, Dick Ernest, Pete Arneson, and Mark Baden.Living on Bald Eagle Lake is fabulous. As my next door neighbor says...Life is good! Thanks for organizing this event. It is appreciated.

Since Ramsey, my life has been full of change and adventure. I left Minnesota for my first sales position with 3M in 1982 and spent about 12 years on the east coast in an area I love, Washington, D.C. Tiring of the corporate world, I co-created and ran a lively upscale restaurant at a busy summer beach community frequented by politicians in Delaware. Being a seasonal restaurant, my partner and I had the opportunity to travel and explore during the winter months. Around this same time I followed an inner urge and developed an educational business focused on teaching individuals and groups how to create success and well-being in their lives by offering seminars, workshops and private sessions. In 1995 I was introduced to my current mate and shortly thereafter moved to California to start our lives together. Most recently I was Business Relations Manager for Countrywide Home Loans, however, I have decided to pursue interests closer to my heart and am currently looking at opportunities in the fields of health and well-being. Free time is spent traveling, outdoor activities, yoga, exploring life possibilities, and most basically, saying YES to Life!

After Ramsey I attend the University of Minnesota-Morris. Graduated with an Elementary Ed Lic, married in '76 and moved out to Eugene Oregon for 4 years. My son Andy was born there. Moved back to Mn, had a daughter and was lucky enough to stay home with them until they started school. Then I went back to school and got my Early Childhood Special Education Licensure, got a job in Robbinsdale School district, got my MEd and now am lucky to have a job I really love, teaching. My son is living with us and my daughter is a Soph. at the U of M. The only person from our class I hang with is Craig Bakken. Once in a while I will see Bob Peterson and Gloria Moore.

After a year in Germany with AFS, a BA in German from Hamline, I returned to Germany to teach music for 2 yrs. Then completed two MAs at the U of M and never left! For 19 years I was in the College of Liberal Arts and 1 1/2 years ago became a director with the U of M's study abroad office. I love it! My work

After graduation I got married and had three great kids. My youngest just started college this year, so life for Irv and I has really changed. Getting married young has resulted in being grandparents young too. We have two beautiful grandsons who we are the joys of our lives. I am approaching my 25th year with 3M company as an Administrative Assistant and looking forward in the future to cutting back on my work time to travel, spend time with my kids and grandkids and have fun!! I haven't been to a class reunion since our 10th or 15th(??), so I am hoping to join this year's millenium get together. Thanks to the efforts of those who worked on this informal reunion to make it possible. I look forward to seeing everyone!!

After a variety of careers (editing, community development, urban planning) I'm now working at the U doing advising, counseling, teaching, and (in theory) working on my Ph.D. incounseling psychology. In my free time I'm writing fiction, teaching myself programming languages and web design, and travelling. The older I get, the better life gets (well, except for the knees and the eyesight...) Have fun, everyone!

After graduating, I went foot loose and fancy-free...moved to California...landed a job working at Fritzi of California as a fitting model. At that time the company designed the "Fritzi" and "You Babe" clothing. Traveled extensively...even made it to South America. From there went into graphic arts and got involved in typesetting…got married...had a child. Eventually, I managed the typesetting department for five years at Chuck Ruhr Advertising located in Minneapolis...got divorced. When typesetting when out the door, so did I. I went to work for the Department of Transportation, involved with graphics department, and design some of their Intranet website. I'm single and raising my son in Roseville.

son - Matt (14) - Irondale High SchoolI am a sales rep in the hardware industry (not computer hardware). I ski a little in the winter, golf a little in the summer but, golf sucks, and as I get older, I find motorcycle riding a more entertaining hobby. (94 HD FXDWG) I still drink too much beer (just like 30 years ago) but, now it makes me fat. I have 2 fun, wonderful kids, who have turned out well despite me - credit thier mom. I am regular pals with classmates Bill Cardinal, Dan Rustad and Gary Trapp. Got stupid in Sturgis this summer with Gary Smith. Cheers, Dave
